Missing my Little Brother

Catlin Mackenzie May

My little brother
A Soldier
A Hero

My brother was my hero.  He was a honest, humble, trustworthy and loyal man.  I miss him everyday and wish it was me instead of him.  He was only 22 and hadn't yet lived life to the fulliest.  I know God had a better plan for him but it leaves me asking why?  I know you are not supposed to question God but in times like these it is hard not too.  In time maybe I will feel at peace with this but as of right not...Not So Much!  Not only did we loose my brother but we are loosing my Grandma in her battle with cancer.  She stopped eating on Sunday and my Aunt and Grandpa are taking her to the hospital today to make her comfortable.  I don't know how much more I can handle.  My friends keep talling me God doesn't put more on your plate then you can handle.  But I really think he is testing me at this very moment!  Please pray for me and my family that we might find some kind of peace and comfort during this time of misery.  They are much needed in everyway possible.

  1. So sorry for your loss, I know words cannot take away your pain. I also questioned God and my faith after my father's death, and went into a deep depression...but it was my faith in God that finally brought me out.

One of the cards sent to me during that period that helped was "We may not understand God's timing, but we can trust in Him"

During this time, instead of praying 'God give me strength" try "God be my strength"

Prayers for you and your family.
